Tiny Things

I’m leaving for jasper in about an hour and I made some damn tasty cookies for the road. Make some yourself and enjoy the Christmasiness of today.

Tiny Showcase has released their winter print collection. The proceeds from these works are going toward Doctors Without Borders. I like “Texas” by Chi Birmingham. The tiny tractors remind me of the selective focus videos of Keith Loutit that have been bouncing around the internet lately. Stop motion aesthetic with real world subjects.

Snow Day #1

It snowed! The Cold, Brown Remnants of Fall Spirit has finally been replaced by the Christmas Spirit. I hope the snow stays around.

Christmas aside, I’ve wanted to post this vid about Invader’s QR code pieces for a while now. I love clever humans who make clever things.

Leeside

Liam posted this beautiful mini-doc on Vancouver’s leeside. Awesome, awesome, awesome. I want to get on building something like this around here. Really, really good work Liam.
